Dr S F Badshah is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with an extensive background in general adult psychiatry and substance misuse psychiatry. He earned his MBBS from Dow University of Health Sciences in 2003 and later completed his MRCPsych and CCT in General Adult and Substance Misuse Psychiatry. He holds Section 12 and Approved Clinician status by approval of the secretary of state. He is currently the Clinical lead for Community mental health services in Southwest Yorkshire, NHS. 

With a broad range of expertise across acute inpatients, intensive home-based treatment teams (IHBTT), Mental health Liaison services, Perinatal mental health, Community mental health teams, and Rehabilitation, Dr. Badshah is dedicated to delivering exceptional care that is centered on the well-being of his patients. His approach to psychiatry is characterized by a strong ethical foundation, prioritizing transparency, honesty, and a deep commitment to understanding an individual's unique needs.

Dr Badshah also brings in-depth experience and dedication to teaching and training, working as a Clinical and Educational Supervisor for foundation-year doctors, GP and psychiatric trainees, and Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs). His work includes contributions to quality improvement (QI) initiatives and research, further reflecting his commitment to advancing mental health care and improving service delivery.

In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Dr Badshah serves as the Northwest of England Executive for the British Pakistani Psychiatrists Association (BPPA). He welcomes contact from individuals who wish to discuss BPPA membership or any other professional matters, offering his support and expertise to foster collaboration and growth within the field.

Dr Badshah has also demonstrated significant managerial and leadership potential. He has successfully led several work streams focused on improving service delivery and optimizing patient outcomes. His leadership approach combines a patient-centered philosophy with a strong drive for innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring that the mental health services under his influence evolve to meet the changing needs of the communities they serve.
